Here is an idea that you still have time to use before Christmas!
These little gift card holders are SO easy to make!
You start with a standard A2 size envelope (4-3/8" x 5-3/4"). A straight flap or a curved flap will work best.
-Fold the envelope in half.
-Cut the flap on your score line
-Seal down the left side of the flap, and tuck in the right side. Your envelope will look like this:
Now you can just decorate the front, back, and inside (left panel) as desired. My decorative panels are cut 2-7/8" x 4-3/8". My front and back panel are red, and I added a white panel on the inside. There is no need to add a panel to the right hand side since that's where your card will fit in. Add a ribbon closure, and you can either let the ribbon show on the outside of your holder, or you can place it behind your decorative pieces like I have done.
Here is what the back of my gift card holder looks like:
And here is what it looks like when you open it up:
Love this idea and I can't believe it's taken me so long to try it! So easy!
Thanks for stopping by today!
